Raised between Bayview Hunters Point and Double Rock in San Francisco, Wink started rapping at 13. His catalog runs two distributed albums deep — From da projects to a project and Took Personal, Pt. 2 — street records with the weight of lived experience behind them.
What sets him apart is the arc. In his Turfn Talks interview, Wink spoke openly about growing up in the streets, facing serious charges young, doing time — and making the deliberate choice toward transformation over repetition.
